New Media Station Documentation - iMovie Titles and Captions

Titles and captions in iMovie are covered in Apple's iMovie Tutorial Lesson 5: Adding Titles and Chapter Markers. There is nothing special about this feature on UNH's New Media stations.

We did receive a request for information on how to create title screens with multiple lines of text, in the style of bullet points from a PowerPoint presentation. There is no built-in titling style in iMovie that allows this, but you can create the text in another program such as Photoshop or PowerPoint and save the file in GIF format and then import them as a still image file into iMovie.

Using mutiple images, each with one more bullet point, you could even have the lines of text appear one after the other as part of an iMovie project.
